I'm still here!

Welcome to Longbox Junk, where the comics are cheap and the reviews are free!

Apologies to my regular Longbox Junk readers.

I've gotten messages asking if I've abandoned the blog.  The answer is no.

I had to take a break from Longbox Junk and work for a few weeks in order to be with my wife as she underwent multiple surgeries following a car wreck.  Things are looking good, though, and they think she can come home tomorrow, so I'll be back in business both here and work shortly.

I've already got the outline done for the next Longbox Junk entry. . .a look at a mini-series that is generally regarded as the FIRST actual comic book mini-series.  But for some strange reason, despite holding a permanent spot in the timeline of comic book history, the issues can be found in just about any good bargain bin at Longbox Junk prices.

Thanks for your patience! Join me shortly as I take a look at DC's "World Of Krypton" from 1979 and ponder the reasons why this piece of comic history can be found in the dollar box.

Be there or be square!
